Our founding and principal partner is Chief Bisi Adegunle. He holds both a Bachelor of Laws degree and a masters degree in law from the University College London. “Chief” as we fondly call him was called to the English Bar at the Middle Temple in September 1968 and the Nigerian Bar in June 1971. He has been in active legal practice since then and founded the firm in 1980.
An advocate par excellence, Chief Adegunle has made outstanding contributions to the development of law through advocacy in Nigeria. He is a master of the arts and has successfully prosecuted several cases up to conclusion not only at the high court, the court of appeal but also at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Chief was a member of the National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association from 1978 to 2006, a member of the General Council of the Bar from 1980 to 1983, a member of the Council of Legal Education from 1988 to 1991 and Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (Ikeja Branch) from 1993 to 1995.
He is a Notary Public of Nigeria.
Kikelomo Siji-Fasole holds a Bachelor of laws degree from the then Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago-Iwoye (1998). She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000 and has been in active legal practice since then. Kike specializes in commercial law, financial advisory and risk management.
She has advised on several corporate finance transactions, including but not limited to $2bn Syndicated Facility to MTN, several Unit Trust Funds, private equity financing etc.
She was trained as a mediator and an Attorney Mediator at the Lagos Multi-door CourtHouse (LMDC), Lagos in 2019 and 2021 respectively. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and Attorney-Mediation Association of Nigeria (ATMA).
She is also a Notary Public of Nigeria.
Oluwasayo Fasanmi holds an LL.B Hons. from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (2009). He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013.
His main areas of practice are corporate and litigation. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Cosmos is a consultant in labour and employment relations for Bisi Adegunle & Co. He is a seasoned legal and Human Resources Management professional with over 25 years’ experience in full spectrum of senior level management.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1996 and has Masters in International Human Resources Management.
Cosmos started his professional career with Austin Mbeh & Co. as a commercial litigation Attorney in 1997. In May 2001, he joined Punch Nigeria Limited (Publisher of Punch Newspapers) as a Senior HR/Legal Officer and moved to DN Meyer Plc in 2008 as Manager, Legal/Human Resources. He rose to the position of GM-Legal/ Human Resources at Meyer in 2014 and moved to Polo Limited as Head of Human Resources in 2018. Cosmos is also a Human Resources Advisor for Brevity Anderson.
He is versed in labour and employment matters especially Union related issues and in resolving a broad scope of human capital needs-talent management, conflict/grievances resolution, employee relations, compensation, reward & recognition, performance management, learning and development etc. He is an exceptional business partner and HR generalist that translates HR initiatives into business goals.
A prolific writer who has numerous publications in journals and newspapers, Cosmos is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Institute of Training and Development, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relation.
